Position Summary: The Supported Living Skills (SLS) & Independent Living Skills (ILS) Worker will provide training and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in various areas such as communication, budgeting, safety, home maintenance, health, medical appointments, nutrition, physical fitness, and community safety awareness. The SLS/ILS Worker will work directly with individuals receiving services in their setting of choice, assisting with the implementation of the goals and objectives listed in the Individual Service Training Plan. This person will also be responsible for collecting data and tracking progress in preparation for reports. They will assist with locating generic supports and services and will serve as a liaison for individuals’ families, physicians, day programs, and Regional Center staff.
